This is not a joke.
I think one of the scarriest things in the world is being in some form of an avalanche.
Snow avalanches, giant tsunami waves, and rock avalanches are some of most terrifying things someone can experience. I never imagined that I actually would be in a rock avalanche though, in fact it was the last concern I had when we were hiking at Yosemite.
For some reason, I always assumed the rocks fell a long time ago – I know that sounds ridiculous, but it’s one of those things I told myself. So when we went to Yosemite with Jenny, I was more concerned about her falling off a cliff, or slipping on wet rocks, or getting attacked by a bear – not concerned about rock fall..
